RFPwon exists because public and private organizations should not pay more than they have to for goods and services, and because the vendors who do the work deserve a fair shot at winning it.

We built this for Texas on purpose. The product started from reading Texas procurement statute and watching how hard it still is for a city or county to run a fair price negotiation with a record elected officials can trust.

We build for both sides of the market. Texas procurement teams use live reverse auctions to negotiate better prices with vendors they already trust, with a record that stands up to review. Bidding is always free once vendors are registered for an auction, and teams can subscribe to RFP Response Management when they need a workspace to respond to buyer documents on their own.

We only succeed when buyers save. Procurement departments pay nothing upfront; we earn a share of verified savings at close. Bidding is always free once you're registered for an auction.

How we think about fairness

Fair competition beats favoritism. Published notice, rank-not-price visibility for vendors, and records you can hand anyone who asks. All qualified vendors get a chance.
